I am interested, but I've never played D&D before and feel I might irritate your friend by asking a lot of questions. (I don't have the books. I rely on the wiki.)
I do have a character, though. Her name is Mivayla Shirin and she's a Dragonborn Monk. (I hope I got the stats thing down, though. Took me a lot of dice rolls to get where I wanted.
